Our carriage charges are simple, free standard delivery to most UK Mainland post codes, if your item is extra large, heavier than normal or needs a specialist delivery we may charge extra but always tell you about this in the price box on each page before you agree to buy.
Dispatch
Different items have different delivery timescales. Most timescales are listed with the item and are 4 - 6 working days but can be confirmed by e-mail should it be required. We are always happy to express items if tight timescales are an issue. If no timescale is listed we will normally deliver within 28 days of funds arriving in our account.
Should you need anything quicker than is normal for that particular product we will do whatever we can to assist. Should this incur additional expenses we reserve the right to forward these on to you, the consumer.
All items that we sell on our websites are closely inspected prior to despatch to ensure that there is nothing wrong with them. If you wish to return an item you must send it back by a signed for method of posting, at your own cost and risk, undamaged and in its original packaging.
If the item being returned is not faulty, we will issue you with a full refund LESS the postage charges that we have incurred in sending the item to you. Where we use the term “Free Delivery”, “Free Standard Delivery” or “Delivery is included in our price” in the item description, it assumes that you are buying the item from us to keep, not to send it back. We do not offer a free approval service. Please contact our Customer Services (email: info@cottongeorge.co.uk) prior to returning the item to obtain a returns number and an address to return the goods to.
Larger and specialist delivered items may have a surcharge but this will always be shown in the individual product listing for you to clearly see prior to making your purchase decisions. Postage charges are for Mainland England, Wales and Southern parts of Scotland. Exceptions are: GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, ZE, BT, IM, and TR21-25. Please contact us for charges to these areas prior to ordering.
